It smells good, but definitely does not project as well as I thought it would. Lingers for about an hour, on skin about 2-3hrs.
If you love the smell of Incense Sticks and the smokiness after lighting one, this fragrance is for YOU.Straight out of the bottle, it reminds me of a blip of my childhood.Walking into an empty serene sanctuary, eagerly looking at the clock, and noticing I am part of the first family to arrive for "Wednesday night Bible study." This pain-staking hours long mandatory event was followed by a very aggressive prayer service at the alter/pulpit. Members of the congregation laid prostrate on the golden carpeted floor praying loudly. Hopeful. In it to win it. The louder, the better.For me, it was the optimal....NAP TIME. The lights were dim and the smell of incense wafting through the church lingered. The loud praying and wailing eventually became more of a mumble. I on the other hand was... OUT. Comfortable. Laying at the alter getting that deep highly coveted R.E.M sleep.Later, I was awoken and embarrassed since everyone else was sitting back in the pews and the lights were at full capacity waiting for me to finish up. My eyes were red with indentations on my face from my sleeve. Yawing and stretching. Oops. My bad. That incense did the trick.Sheikl Shuyukh (LUX Edition) by Lattafa very vividly brings up this memory for me. This fragrance is STRONG friends. I personally love strong statement fragrances so this is at least a PLUS. I definitely pick up on the Saffron and the woodiness upon spraying it. The Patchouli, Caramel and Vanilla bring a nice sweetness and warmness to this fragrance once it calms down a bit. I get a smokiness that smells like I have been standing near a wood chip bbq smoker on a hot summer day.The way this fragrance continues to develop on me doesn't really seem to do me any favors at the moment honestly. The Patchouli seems a bit overpowering at times. I have already tried mixing this fragrance with a vanilla body spray to see if that will help, and so far, that has been a FAIL. The smokiness of this fragrance is quite aggressive and I am uncertain of how to calm it down or how to make it have more..... BALANCE.I wore this fragrance out to the store really quickly and, I'm not sure I actually LIKE it as a perfume/cologne. As a bathroom spray, sure. As a air the house out spray, sure. I don't want to give up on this fragrance though. So.... let the maturation process BEGIN!!!! I will put this fragrance away in the dark for a few months, then I will revisit it. The maturation process has definitely helped with some fragrances I have purchased in the past. Some of these fragrances took some time to grow on me. I'm not sure if this one will do the same, but I'm hoping.The scent profile isn't terrible, but maturation will hopefully help and create balance. I give this Lattafa fragrance 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ STARS.

This is so beautiful! I got so many compliments wearing this!! It’s a lovely rose, saffron, caramel, patchouli, vanilla, amber, and ambroxan scent!! This is a dupe for Lancôme’s Oud Bouquet!! It’s so seductive and alluring! I highly recommend it!!
